(how many in a quarter?)

The number of nickels,
A quarter contains,
Is something I cannot decide…
I don’t count by tens,
Or sevens, or ones,
A nickel,
It counts up by fives!
5 then 10,
15 then 20,
nickelnickelnickelnickel
But 20 is not quite enough,
Add 1 more,
nickelnickelnickelnickelnickel
That's 25,
A quarter with edges so rough!


There are 5 nickels in a quarter!!!!!

5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25
